EXCAVATION

We excavate specifically to the shape of your pool! We over excavate roughly 100-300mm bigger than your chosen pool to allow enough room for backfill and packing of all steps and benches. Another important aspect taken into consideration is soil types!

POOL DELIVERY & CRANE PLACEMENT

The pool shell has arrived! But before the pool is carefully lifted into place with the crane, we screed a 100mm thick bed of 5mm drainage to allow subsoil water to move freely underneath.

FIT OUT

To allow for water circulation, we use diamond blade hole saws to drill, fit, and silicone in all return jets, skimmer boxes and other suction lines and spa jets if needed. Your hydrostatic safety valve and pool lights are also installed to exactly where you want them!

BACKFILLING

During this process there is a lot of progression! Our backfill is a 8% stabilised mix of crusher dust and cement. Once the pool is in the correct place and levelled, the atmosphere line is installed to the deepest part of the excavation and the backfilling begins! Filling the pool with water at the same level, working in to ensure the pool walls stay straight! Wetting and compacting the backfill is a must to help prevent future settlement of materials.

PLUMBING

Once the water has reached the return jets, it is time to plumb in and run all pipework and electrical to where the designated area is for the pumps and filters. Once all pipes are installed and upright, we then continue the backfilling process including taking into consideration all drainage options.

CONCRETE BONDBEAM & TILING & FENCING

The concrete bond beam is generally made up of 20Mpa strength, 10mm rock and an 80-90L slump. Not only does it lock everything in place, it now creates a solid foundation for the coping tiles to be laid on! Fencing gives the finishing touches to all pool builds!

Handover & Poolcare

After a few weeks of becoming a part of the family, the final inspection is carried out by the Private Certifier and it is now time to show you how to take care of your Pool! Pool maintenance includes cleaning, water balance and filtration operations!
